Skilled breastfeeding support within healthcare systems is essential to improving maternal and child outcomes and building stronger, healthier communities. In honour of World Breastfeeding Week 2025, the Global Breastfeeding Collective will host a webinar introducing three powerful tools countries can use to enhance the quality of breastfeeding support at every level of their healthcare systems. Health professionals, health systems administrators, policy makers, and healthcare educators are urged to join us as we explore: The webinar will also feature a panel discussion with country-level representatives from three different regions that have effectively strengthened the delivery of breastfeeding support in national and subnational healthcare systems and will explore how the new resources could be applied in their specific regional contexts. Attendees will hear directly from mothers with the Voices of Mothers Video, featuring personal stories from mothers around the world illustrating how the location support they received—or did not receive—within the healthcare system impacted their breastfeeding experience. The webinar will be held at two times with a similar agenda to accommodate time zones: Africa, Asia and Europe friendly time 5 August 2025 – 08:00 CEST Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and Europe friendly time 6 August 2025 – 17:00 CEST Simultaneous interpretation will be available in Arabic, English, Chinese, French, Spanish, and Russian.
